Today's Review: Jane Fonda's Workout: Fast Abs Sculpt
 Jeanette Jenkins, Kamala Mathis, Karena Dawn, Katrina Hodgson, Tara Stiles **** (4 of 5 stars)

This dvd offers four 11-12 minute ab routines led by various "Team Fonda" instructors. Each workout focuses on a different genre of core work-yoga, pilates, basics, and athletic. You wont need any equipment for this workout. Each instructor works out alone (or co-leads) in an open hardwood floor set. You can play all or "forward" ahead (via remote) as each instructors segment is one chapter.

Jeanette Jenkins: This routine is athletic in nature. Exercises include: plank, pike planks, plank knee pulls, sit up leg extensions, crunch & twists, leg drop cross twists, roll ups, oblique twists & finishes with a stretch. Love Jeanette and this section did not dissapoint!

Tara Stiles: This is a yoga inspired core routine. Exercises include: down dog, plank to side plank, chataranga plank, down dog split & knee pulls, boat, boat extensions and twists, double leg drop to roll over, etc. Tara has a lot of information to share & she talks a bit fast but is obviously a very knowledgeable instructor.

Karina & Katrina: This is a good "back to basics" core routine -10 exercises repeated 3 times. One performs the exercises and one acts as the trainer. Exercises include: crunch, double crunch, bicycle, V crunch, side plank drops, plank & plank knee pulls. Karina & Katrina work well together & this is a great "back to basics" core routine!

Kamala Mathis: This is a pilates style core workout. Exercises include: knee pull- leg extensions, double leg drop, isometric ab hold, side knee drops, slow bicycle holds, oblique crunches, etc. Great selection of core pilates exercises.

I rate this a higher beginner ab routine that can be easily broken up or done in its entirety. This is a very well rounded core dvd- that has a place in most everyones library. I like they  include various instructors and genres of core routines. This provides a great sampling of different workout styles to suit all your exercise "moods." I received this dvd to review.

This Month: We are going to Vegas later this month to meet some friends and DH & I are renewing our vows :) Its an odd time to do it- we will be at 4 years in August, but oh well, we're odd...We reserved a spot at The Little White Wedding Chapel. We have requested the Crystal Chapel- because of the super tacky red decor. Pics will surely follow!!!
