Couples Workout For Health and Happiness: Strength & Tone Together
Gina Guddat, 2015

Gina & Larry work out together in a nice living room set. You will need dumbbells, a step bench, and med ball for this 43 min strength workout. You can easily do this workout solo (you may have to slightly modify a few exercises) or grab your significant other for a fun tonight workout! The DVD is fully chaptered.

Between exercise sets there is an intro screen that gives you a short rest break. After a warm up & stretch, exercises include: unweighted squats adding weights, overhead press, and calf raises, bicep series, lunge series holding hands for balance, abduction & lat raises, deadlifts & single leg deadlifts, front raises, tri dips & one leg tri dips, standing med ball twist & pass adding a squat, rows, upper back fly, pushup series starting at counter height to full pushups off a step, and bridge & bench press adding kegals & inner thigh squeezes.
You will need to add on your own cool down/ stretch.

I rate this a solid intermediate routine, that you can easily modify up or down depending on your poundage. The couple offers lots of intensity options & modifications as well as excellent form pointers throughout. Lots of combo moves that get your heart rate up and a great pace that allows for moderate to heavier weights. The couple is fun & encouraging to work out with- the couple that works out together, stays together.
I received this DVD to review.
