Kundalini Yoga for Happiness Review From the Health & Happiness 2 DVD Set Featuring Harmanjot Kaur

 New from Acacia & Harmanjot Kaur is Kundalini Yoga for Health & Happiness. This 2 disc- set includes 140 minutes of practices on two dvds in one convenient DVD case. Harmanjot Kaur  leads these routines in gorgeous outdoor sets featuring grass, flowers, ponds, and so much beautiful greenery making the practices peaceful & meditative. Yoga for Happiness contains over 70 minutes of footage. You can play all or select one of the 4 practices from the main menu. It also contains a brief intro chapter and a quick chapter regarding headwraps that can be useful in your practice. You wont need any equipment for these routines & Harmanjot works out alone and barefoot in gorgeous outdoor settings with lots of greenery, & trees, plants.

Four Stroke Breath For Balance: (6 Minutes) This is a seated meditation routine. Harmanjot takes you through various chanting, breathing and meditation techniques. 

Happiness Kriya: (47 Minutes) This routines includes seated chanting, running & punching to up your cardio & cleanse your blood, seated hops for spine adjustment, seated chest pop & spinal roll, low crouching frog squats to standing, camel variations, low yoga squats, corpse, kundalini stretch pose, kneeling spine & chest rolls, fast cat cow, kneeling chest opener, and corpse pose.

Meditation For a Calm Heart: (14 Minutes) This is a seated meditation routine. Harmanjot takes you through various chanting, breathing and meditation techniques. 

Lotus Mudra Meditation: (6 Minutes) This is a seated meditation routine. Harmanjot takes you through various chanting, breathing and meditation techniques. 

These routines are suitable for all fitness levels. Harmanjot is an excellent instructor and explains the benefits of all the techniques used in these routines. She also offers modifications for many postures. The pace of these routines is quicker than many yoga routines and you perform each exercise for a good amount of time for maximum benefit. This is my first time trying Kundalini yoga & it is unique from other yoga forms and a great addition to a balanced workout library. I received this DVD to review.
