Jaana leads this 44 minute cardio core dance workout with 2 background exercisers. You wont need any equipment for this light bodyweight toning & cardio core workout. This workout is on disc 1 of the basic set.
After a warm up, The routine is broken up into 3 sections: upper body, lower, body & total body. Exercises include merengue pedals with shoulder raise & bi curls, snake & chest squeeze; plie, demi plie to demi curtsy, skater twist, side lunge abduction & abduction, samba & chest fly, wide knee march up & back, knee crunch & tricep arms, and a cool down.

I rate this intermediate level in terms of intensity with choreo complexity. Jaana layers the routine as you go & adds on exercises to create short routines. The key to really hitting your abs and mastering the workout is repetition so there are not a lot of complex exercises. Lots of fun & very core focused. This was more of a cardio workout for me than toning. Yaana is very enthusiastic in this one. I received this DVD to review.
