URX-MT Total Body Metobolic Strength Conditioning Review

URX-MT Total Body Metobolic Strength Conditioning
Gay Gasper, 2011

Gay leads this 52 minute mostly cardio rebounding workout in a brick walled gym w/ 3 background exercisers. You will need 1-3 # sandweights and your Urban Rebounder. You wont be jumping on and off the UR very much in this one. You will be using the perimeter for the final strength work though.

While this is mostly old-school aerobic type cardio Gay does provide some strength work to finish up the workout. Exercises include: ham curls, knees, skis, power squats, step off the UR- plank- jack- then hop back on, moguls, single leg hops, a few tuck jumps, jump rope variations, plank to jumping jack combo, weighted roll backs, bridge tricep dips, weighted squat & jump combo, and hi to lo to side planks.

I rate this a solid intermediate workout- one of the less intense in the set. Gay is a good instructor but probably my least favorite in the set. Both her workouts are lower intensity than I expected. She doesnt use the sand weights in this very much- but you could easily use yours for the entirety to amp it up a bit. This one reminds me of a more challenging version of the original UR workouts. Its a good workout but not as intense as I would have expected for this set.
