Tabata Workout Handbook, Volume 2

New Collection of High Intensity Training Workouts

Hatherleigh Press introduces: Tabata Workout Handbook, Volume 2: New Collection of High Intensity Training Workouts by Michael Volkmar. This latest volume features more than 100 all-new, Tabata-style high intensity interval training workouts (HIIT) for all fitness levels.

Designed by Izumi Tabata after he conducted scientific tests to determine which was more effective: straight high intensity workouts, or high intensity interval workouts, Tabatas are a long-time favorite of athletes looking to reach their peak and stay competitive.

Any exercise can be incorporated into the tabata training. However the basic outline of the Tabata training method is as follows: 4 minutes long, 20 seconds of intense training followed by 10 seconds of rest for a total of 8 sessions or rounds. Commonly, tabata workouts combine four exercises for a total workout time of 16 minutes. It is one of the most efficient means to get exercise, burn fat, and achieve fitness.

The Tabata Workout Handbook, Volume 2 "grab and go fitness" format includes over 100 all-new tabata workouts for gym, home and pool, plus sports specific Tabatas for tennis and golf.

Tabata lets you push your body to its physical limits—getting the results you want while avoiding stress-based injuries and unwanted setbacks. Requiring little to no equipment, Tabata is as affordable as it is effective. The Tabata Workout Handbook, Volume 2 features all-new workouts, with programs perfect for beginners and experts alike.

Whether you’re looking to intensify an existing workout, increase your fitness results, or overcome your personal fitness plateau and reach new heights, The Tabata Workout Handbook, Volume 2 shows how.
