Review: The Muffin Tin Chef: 101 FUN Bite-Sized Recipes!

As you may or may not know, I have a "thing" with cupcakes (LOVE) so my birthday is coming up and my best gal pal had the genius idea of doing a cupcake theme for the party so when I came across The Muffin Tin Chef from Ulysses Press I was THRILLED with the opportunity to review it! I will follow up with pictures of the food we prepare from the book after the party. We are definitely going to be making the lasagna, mac 'n cheese, and spinach dip cupcakes and probably a few others! Keep reading for a full review of the book!

Review: The Muffin Tin Chef101 Savory Snacks, Adorable Appetizers, Enticing Entrees and Delicious Desserts

Matt Kadey, 2012

This book contains recipes for appetizers, side dishes, breakfasts. lunches, dinners, and even desserts- no not just cupcakes either! It includes 101 creative and adorable recipes for every single course of your meal and more!

It includes a TON of awesome photos -whats a cookbook without pictures after all! The recipe details and instructions are clear and easy to understand & follow. You could seriously (and I intend to) make a complete meal using the recipes in this book.

The best part of the muffin tin concept is PORTION CONTROL! You eat a sensible amount - no guessing on portions! Some of the recipes I can not wait to try include: Baked Eggs in Prosciutto Cups, Peach-Stuffed French Toast Bowls, Spinach Dip Bowls, Jalapeño Cheese Rolls, Butternut Squash  Soufflés, Chicken Italiano Pizza Bites, Lasagna Rolls, Crab Cakes with Corn-Tomato Relish, No-Bake Cheesecakes with Raspberry Sauce, and SO many more!

The muffin tin is not just for desserts anymore! In the same way it transforms a single cake into a dozen cute cupcakes, your muffin tin is the secret to making tasty, fun-to-eat mini versions of all your favorite foods. Filled with full-color photos and easy-to-follow recipes, this handy cookbook shows how to whip up popin- your-mouth, perfectly portioned dishes.
