Boho Beautiful in 10 Days is a 10 day program that includes 40 videos totaling 10 hours. Each day of the program, your one hour workout focuses on a specific theme which it’s class itinerary was built upon. Of course, you can mix & match from the videos to create your own routines as well. The program includes yoga, fitness, cardio, pilates, meditation, and a vegan food guide complete with a shopping list. The best part though is that all the workouts are performed on a gorgeous Exuma, Bahamas beach with breathtaking views in the background! Today includes an intro video that prepares you for your workouts, tells you about today's goals, theme, and today's Mantra. The workouts for the day include a 20 minute fitness routine, a 20 minute yoga routine, and a 20 minute meditation routine. You will need a set of light dumbbells for the fitness routine. Juliana works out alone in all of these routines & all are shot on location in the beautiful Exuma, Bahamas. All workouts are performed barefoot.
Day 2 Fitness: Today's fitness focus is legs & arms; you will perform 8-15 reps of each exercise. After a warm up, exercises include deadlift, squat & clean & press, single leg deadlift with a balance knee, balance stick hold, stationary lunges with overhead press, low lunge hold with wiper arms, static lunge & upper back fly, plank, table top leg series, balance bird dog & tri kickbacks, plie hold & pluses. and concludes with childs. This is an athletic yoga style routine and includes some great balance work.
Day 2 Yoga: Today's routine is an island vibe yoga. Poses include childs pose, cat cow, foot stretch, lunge to front & side leg extension, standing pigeon, 3 leg dog hip opener, low lunge, split or full lunge, double pigeon, spinal twist, lying butterfly & low back massage. Juliana intersperses a flow throughout: down dog -up dog- chaturanga-side plank with leg raise. You are encouraged to choose your intensity until you feel the stretch-wherever that is for you.
Day 2 Meditation: This routine is done in voiceover showing Juliana seated on a dock over the ocean/sea. The focus for today is that you are exactly where you need to be and to focus on the present and not dwell on the past. You are advised to sit on the floor or bed cross-legged and focus on breathing, letting go of past stress, tension, and worry. All is perfect, all is well, I am exactly where I need to be is your mantra for today.
The fitness routine is a solid intermediate and the yoga & meditation are appropriate for most all fitness levels. Juliana does a great job of providing modification options up & down, for many exercises. Today's workout routine provides new & different exercises than yesterday, with a new theme and mantra. It will work your body & strengthen your mind. The fitness routine contains lots of great combo exercises that also get your heart rate up. I received access to these workouts to review.
