Review: JNL Fusion: Lower Body Fusion and Lean Legs

JNL Fusion: Lower Body Fusion & Lean Legs

 This disc contains two lower body workouts. Jennifer leads these workouts in a gym with a group background exercisers. You will need dumbbells and an optional cordless rope for both workouts. Music options are available.

Fusion Lower Body: This is a 28 min lower body & cardio circuit. Two exercise (one LB & one cardio) are performed three times. Exercises include: lunge, plyo lunge, dip, plank frog hops, squat to kick, squat jacks, pliets, squat side kicks, crab plyo kicks, calf raises, and cross country skiing. I rate this workout advanced! Love that the cardio exercise often mimics the previous strength exercise.

Lean Legs: This is a 29 min lower body & cardio circuit workout. You perform one cardio & one LB strength exercise three times. Exercises include: squats, squat hops, split lunges, jump rope, sumo squats, plyo jacks, 1 leg balance deadlift, scissor jacks, calf raises, Heisman drill, bridge, & superman leg raises. I rate this routine solid to high intermediate.

The advanced mod shows a band option. The w/o's are different from each other & compliment each other well. Jennifer has a great energy, is very motivating and provides great form pointers. The exercisers are using lighter weights but I found I could use moderately heavy poundage and really burn out my muscles while still keeping pace. The workouts really allow you to go at your own pace. I received this dvd to review.

This fabulous beauty box is a must have! First I love the box- super cute and I plan to use it to store my make-up and/or as a carry on type box for vacationing. Its super sturdy and definitely reusable. 


The kit contains Terme Tresses Shampoo, Conditioner - which both worked very well in my hair. I have thick curly color treated hair so I need a thick conditioner and a gentle shampoo- these both fit the bill! It also contains a bath pouf- yay! Its cute and pink as you can see. Well made- not one of those cheap dollar bin poufs. Its hanging in my shower right now :) To use with the lovely pink pouf is a lovely creamy body wash. It smells just as lovely as the shampoo & conditioner. Great to layer the awesome scents together. Im real into layering my scents. And speaking of layering- the kit comes with a luxiourious hand creme that is perfect for my dry skin. It also smells amazing and is non-greasy.
Onto the candle- love it! Cute container, generously sized and smells wonderful. It burns great and is made of soy- which I love! Soy candles last longer and melt more evenly which allows for longer use and a nicer even burn. The candle matches the rest of the kit in the cute pink & black theme- making this perfect for any gal in your life. 

This kit would make a fabulous gift- I got it as a gift for myself LOL but will definitely be keeping it in mind for an upcoming bridal shower I am attending. I know the bride to be will appreciate this and I know that this really fits the bridal shower image of cute & fun pampering for the future Mrs. I highly recommend EdenFantasys and the Belleza Box.

Nutrisystem Week 19 Update: 12.7 lbs Down

Yay over 1 lb lost this week!!!! My eating has been great this week so I knew I'd see a loss. I see some new foods on NS that I can not wait to try! This is my last month on NS and I am excited to see how I fare. Hoping for a 15 lb loss. I am so close to my goal and the weight comes off more slowly as I get closer it seems. Here's a few new Nutrisystem foods I can not wait to try YUM: Chocolate Cheesecake, Fire Roasted Red Pepper, Orzo, Shrimp and Lobster Langostino, and Beef & Bean Burrito.

I feel like Ive been really killing my w/o's too but its hard to tell because my workout room is so freakin' hot! Ugh, I am leaving the room soaking wet- sweat you know! I have the house AC (obviously, we live in the desert), a fan going, and I have a mini AC unit. My room is upstairs and because of the mini AC the window is cracked to accommodate the tube thingy which really makes the room stinking hot. It came with a panel to put in the window to block but the panel thing is made for a a horizontal window and I have a vertical window in that room. So, I prob need to figure out a way to block that though cuz its getting unbearable and its only July. Any ideas?

This workout alternates cardio exercises with bicep and chest exercises. Each exercise is performed for 30 seconds with very little rest in between moves. You perform 2 exercises (one bicep or chest and one cardio) and then repeat those 3 times. Exercises include: bi curls, jump rope, hammer curls, burpee- pushups, side bi curls, plyo squats, V pushups, speed bag shuffle, scissor jacks w/ chest press, wide pushups, horizontal conditioning kick outs, and X pushups to side plank.

Because of the nonstop nature and amount of pushups in the w/o I rate it advanced.  This workout really packs a punch in < 30 min! My chest & biceps were really worked and my heart was pumping- I was drenched in sweat by the end. As always, Jennifers energy is very motivating and her form pointers are spot on. Love the 30 second format and the athletic exercises that are easy to follow and really get the job done in a short amount of time. I received this dvd to review.
