Denise Austin's 10 Week, 360° Plan Review: Ultimate Fat Burning Cardio

Denise's new 10 Week, 360° Plan is a new customizable 10-week health and fitness plan that combines everything Denise knows about exercise, nutrition and motivation all in one place. The plan includes online access to her TV shows, new workouts, health & nutrition plans, customized menu options, online forums, and so much more. Her Ultimate Fat Burning Cardio workout, detailed below, is available to stream on the Denise Austin website with the 10 Week, 360 Plan and available on DVD as an add-on to the system.

Denise works out in an open gym set with 2 backgrounders. You will need light dumbbells and an optional jumprope for this 36 minute cardio workout. The workout contains a warm up, three segments: HIT, kickboxing, tabata drills, and a cooldown. This workout is available to stream online with the 360 Plan and is also available on DVD.

HIT work includes: windmill, lateral leaps, fast feet, weighted elbow to knee pulls, side shuffle, weighted diagonal reaches, hi knee run, butt kicks, plank adding hip dips and hip shifts, power jacks, & plank jacks. The kickboxing routine contains 2 rounds: jumprope, squat & kick, upper cuts & jabs while keeping your feet moving, jab & side kicks, jacks, flying jacks, Mt climbers, and boxers shufle. The tabata routine features 2 rounds of 2 exercises 4 times each 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest: plyo lunge, mogul skiier, tuck jumps, fast plank lunge hops, and burpees.

This is a low advanced routine that is athletic and easy to follow. Denise does not waste time in this workout but does provide some short rest breaks, great motivation, form pointers, and great tips. I really love the format of these workouts and this one really packs a punch. Denise's bubbly personality still shines through in this set though she has definitely toned it down a bit. She still looks amazing and hasnt aged a bit. I received this DVD to review.
