If you are like me, you love new workouts! Herbalife is offering FREE streaming workouts to anyone! They can be accessed by all on the Herbalife Fitness Portal! Their newly launched site is geared to everyone- beginner, intermediate & advanced! These workouts are free to everyone-all fitness levels, no access code needed, just good, quick fitness workouts. Samantha does most of the workouts and she has a few other fitness professionals leading workouts in their specialties. Samantha is a former Olympic runner, mother of 4 is the head of Fitness for Herbalife Fitness. Keep reading my detailed review of a fab workout from the site!
Marc leads this 16 min lower body routine in a brick set. You wont need any equipment for this workout but can easily add dumbbells to increase intensity. There is an on screen timer for each exercise.
You will perform each exercise for 30 seconds with 10-15 seconds rest in between. Exercises include bridge raises, modified side plank, single leg bridge, side plank, plank, gorilla walk, bridge raise with glute stretch, crunch to plank adding a leg raise, bridge raise with upper quad work, plank knee pulls, mt climber, and concludes with a quick stretch.
This is a low intermediate routine but is easy to make more challenging by adding weights. I really liked this workout, it flows really well and is a good way to work your lower body on the floor. Marc uses the rest to transition to the next exercise so there is no wasted time. This one is easy to modify up or down. Marc offers some modification options and provides a lot of great form pointers. The Herbalife Fitness Portal is free for everyone!
