This is a 32 min active core & core focused cardio interval workout. Jennifer leads this workout in a gym with a group background exercisers who provide various intensity options. You will need an optional cordless jump rope & a towel for this workout. A very short cooldown is also included. Music options are also available.
Each exercise is performed for 30 seconds with very little rest in between moves. You perform 2 exercises (one core focused cardio & one active core) and then repeat those 3 times. Exercises include: donkey kick plank moguls, scissor jacks w/ torso twists, towel torso twists, mogul hops, pony, elbow to hip pulls, standing pikes, pony, speed rope, V knee pulls, 1 leg pike hops, crab kicks, and V sit flutter kicks.
I rate this a high intermediate workout. Unique & different exercises from the other JNL workouts. Love that the core work is active & keeps the heart rate up and that the cardio work also hits the core. Jennifer has a great energy & her & the crowd are very motivating. I love the 30 second format that really allows you to give each exercise your all, time really flies, no boredom, and no frantic transitions. All the exercises are easy to follow and athletic in nature. I received this dvd to review.
