REVIEW: Element Yoga For Strength & Flexibility

Element: Yoga for Strength & Flexibility
Ashley Turner, 2013

Ashley leads these routines outdoors w/ a beautiful view oft the Pacific Ocean and lots of plush greenery. The dvd is done in voice over & contains two 30 minute routines. You will not need equipment for either routine.

Flexibility: The routine starts w/ breath work and moves into: side stretches, side bends, standing back bends, squat to stand, hip openers, bird dog leg extensions, cat cow, runners lunge stretch, fold over front leg stretch, triangle, ham string stretch, horizontal splits, and concludes with corpse pose.

Strength: After breath work you move into: plank, side planks, tricep push ups, down dog, crunch work, leg drops, crescent pose, balance stick, chair pose, back bend, and concludes w/ a stretch.

I rate the flexibility routine beginner and the strength a solid intermediate routine. Ashley is an excellent instructor and I always enjoy her routines. LOVE the gorgeous background. Great variety between the two routines. I received this dvd to review.
