Beachbody REVIEW: 21 Day Fix Extreme: Plyo Fix Extreme Featuring Autumn Calabrese

If you have tried the original 21 Day Fix and loved it like I did, and are ready for the next level - 21 Day Fix Extreme is your answer. Same awesome format, same awesome instructor, just bumped up a level. The workouts are short -still around 30 minutes each, but they're extreme. The eating plan is simple, and the program comes complete with color coded food storage containers, nutrition guide, recipes, fitness info & more. This is the EXACT program that Autumn herself uses to get ready for a competition or photo shoot.

21 Day Fix: Plyo Fix Extreme

This is a 31 minute weighted lower body plyo workout. Autumn works out in a gym set with a group of background exercisers, one providing some easier modifications. You will need dumbbells for this workout. You will perform 5 rounds of 2 exercises, 30 seconds of work followed by 30 seconds of rest. 

After a warm up, exercises include: weighted squat jumps, weighted lunge jumps, single leg weighted squat hops, plyo plie jacks, burpee tuck jumps, weighted squat box jumps, weighted skater floor touch, weighted jumps, plank moguls, shuffle plie & curl, a one minute bonus of plyo lunges & plyo squats and a
 quick stretch.

I rate this an advanced workout that really had my lower body burning & my heart pumping. After 30 seconds of tough work, I needed those 3
0 seconds of rest! As always, Autumns cuing & instruction are great. This is a great, yet tough workout! I received this DVD to review.
