I am pleased to introduce the NEW Pilates Therapeutics Activ-Wedge and two DVD set, now available on Amazon! The DVD is specially designed for teachers, therapists and practitioners of Pilates! The two DVD set contains three workouts- Creating A Client Profile, On The Mat, and On The Apparatus. Also available is the Activ-Wedge itself, which comes in a two pack. Keep reading to learn more about these great workouts & the Activ-Wedge.

The Activ-Wedge® DVD is produced by Dr. Suzanne Martin who is the founder of Pilates Therapeutics. The 3 videos include: Assessment/ Creating a Client Profile (30 minutes), Activ-Wedge® on the Mat (40 minutes), and Activ-Wedge® on the Apparatus (60 minutes). The Activ-Wedge was originally designed for its use in the Pilates environment for clients with scoliosis, Dr. Martin found that the wedge is useful for any client with asymmetries, as well as having a home and office use. The name Activ-Wedge® means that the wedge is not just for stretching, it sis for balance and stability.
The focus on the first workout, Creating a Client Profile, is on posture. The workout goes into all facets and angles of posture and helps you and your clients, gain better posture for overall better health for you and your clients.
Activ-Wedge on the Mat is divided into 10 separate sections. Each section shows you how to use the Activ-Wedge with various pilates positions on the mat. You can really get a lot of use out of the Activ-Wedge in all your pilates positions: supine, prone, side-lying, seated, kneeling, half- kneeling, Z-sit, quadruped, retrograde poses, and standing.
Activ-Wedge® on the Apparatus has 8 sections all using the pilates apparatus. Each section shows you how to use Activ-Wedge in various positions and poses including supine, prone, seated, kneeling, half- kneeling, Z-sit, quadruped, retrograde poses, and standing. Apparatus use includes the Universal Reformer, Trapeze Table, and Wunda Split Peddle Chair.
Dr. Suzanne Martin is a Physical Therapist, Pilates/Performing Arts specialist, ACSM Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist and Certified Lymphatic Therapist, Educator and Author. She is the founder of Pilates Therapeutics and offers Advanced Qualification Specialization Programs (AQSP), now in its 7th year.
