This is a 45 minute, mostly strength work, FIRM Parts workout. the DVD is fully chaptered. You will need dumbbells, a step box, and an optional dowel. Along with the strength work there are some low & high impact aerobics.

After a warmup & stretch, exercises include: clean & press, jumps, knee raises, military press, French press, bi curls, lunges & dips, leg press, rows, tall box climb, front & side raises, plie series, upper back fly, trip dips with your feet on the box, low back extensions and a stretch.

I rate this a solid to high intermediate workout depending on the poundage you use. I was able to heavy up pretty good & got a great workout! This is a very well rounded workout & all of the instructors are excellent. There are a lot of good isolation exercises and the pace is perfect. I received this dvd to review.

  1. This is a top favorite among many of us that have a FIRM Classics collection. It's among the best of the best, in my opinion, of the FIRM Parts collection that were compiled post the Volumes 1 thru 6 era. It's a good intro to what came after those volumes mentioned. Just remember, it's a workout you work up to or into. If a workout is easily doable from the get-go, it's not worth the time.
