BzzAgent Presents Kozy Shacks NEW Indulgent Recipe Puddings

I LOVE Kozy Shack rice pudding so when I saw that they had a new line of Indulgent Puddings I was intrigued. I had the opportunity to try via BzzAgent! The yummy flavor varieties (listed below) are enticing enough on their own, but knowing that they’re made with simple, premium ingredients like cream and real sugar makes them a delicious alternative to the other brands you will see in the stores! The rich taste and creamy texture of this thick pudding is just what you’re looking for Keep reading to hear my thoughts. 

The new Indulgent line includes: Salted Caramel, Chocolate Truffle, Vanilla Bean and Dark Chocolate flavors. I found mine at my local Fry's (though they did not have the Vanilla Bean variety). We tried the Dark Chocolate and the Chocolate Truffle varieties. The puddings are very rich & creamy and thicker than many puddings I have tried. The kids loved them and I will be getting them again for them because 1) I like the brand 2) the kids really like them and 3) natural ingredient list compared to other pudding brands. HELLO shelf stable pudding -no thank you. Kozy Shack is found in the dairy case, not the pantry section. 

The fat content is too high for me to indulge in these very often but for the active kiddos that need dairy & fat in their diet - this is the perfect after dinner treat. The hubby also enjoyed both varieties.

BzzAgent Introduced me to Coca-Cola Life

We dont drink much soda in our house at all but sometimes DH really wants a soda and that is where Coca-Cola Life comes in. Life is a reduced-calorie Coca-Cola that is  sweetened with cane sugar and stevia leaf extract. This is a healthier and a great-tasting option instead of your normal cola. It contains only 60 calories per 8-oz. glass bottle! It is the first reduced-calorie sparkling beverage sweetened with cane sugar and stevia leaf extract for Coke and it has 35 percent fewer calories than other leading colas. All that with no HFCS and a lot less calories! 

Anyone trying to kick the soda habit should really check it out, tastes like your beloved Coca-Cola without the high fructose corn syrup and without all the calories.  I also like to use Coca-Cola Life at parties and as a mixer for adult beverages. It is available in super cute throw back glass bottles or in cans! Better than plastic thats for sure!

Arla Dofino Cheese & BzzAgent

Thanks to Bzzagent, I had the pleasure of reviewing Arla Dofino cheese. I got to try the jalapeno Havarti - it is mild, creamy, and has a touch of spice. My husband loved it by the slice, on a grilled burger, and on his turkey sandwich. Needless to say it didnt last long in the house. But the good news is they carry it at our local Fry's store so its on my shopping list again for next week. I had the opportunity to try Arla Dofino courtesy of Bzzagent as a product tester!  

The Arla Dofino brand offeres a huge variety of cheeses that everyone will love. I knew they had Havarti and Gouda but I did not know they also offer Edam and Fontina. I cant wait to try them all. Arla Dofino cheeses are free of added hormones and crafted with quality, natural ingredients in an environmentally-friendly way. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME! I do not buy dairy products with added hormones so I was sure to check this out! 

The Jalapeno Havarti is perfect for an afternoon snacks and making lunchtime favorites for the whole family. Arla Dofino cheeses contain only a few ingredients and no added hormones! They’re crafted in Wisconsin from local farmers’ milk! I also want to try their light slices which are lighter in fat & calories & easy to just grab a slice for your sandwich or snack!

My latest BzzAgent kit was courtesy of Kroger. Keep reading to learn more! Kroger Skillet Meals are perfect for those busy days - allows you to cook a meal for your family in very little time. Grab a Kroger salad kit for a complete meal with no effort at all. I enjoyed the Shrimp Lo Mien for lunch a few days this week. Super low fat and low calorie and high in flavor. Best part- took just minutes to prepare. Im always rushed on weekdays so it made the perfect meal for my busy schedule.

The salad kits are great because they include everything you need- lettuce, vegis, dressing, and toppings such as croutons or bacon. The Skillet Meals, Salad Kits, and Garlic Bread are quick & easy and the perfect solution for a busy weekday family dinner.

BzzAgent Presents Buitoni Reserva: NEW Seafood Raviolis!

Being a BzzAgent member has its perks and this is one of my favorite campaigns to date:  Buitoni Reserva offers all new varieties including Shrimp Scampi Ravioli and Crab Ravioli. BzzAgent Report: Kroger Fried Chicken! Hot, Fresh, & Delicious!

Being a BzzAgent member has its perks and this is another fabulous campaign from one of my favorite stores: Kroger! This campaign is for Kroger Fried Chicken. Keep reading to learn all about the yum yum yummy Kroger Fried Chicken from your local Kroger deli.

Frys Grocery is across the street from out house so I love that they offer hot & fresh fried chicken with all the fixins. I can just run in and quickly grab an entire meal for the family. The chicken was moist & juicy. I removed the skin and had the breast for a healthier yet still delicious treat. Hubby enjoyed the drumsticks on the back patio. I used some of the meat to add to a rice dish for hubbies lunch the next day and it was great reheated that way. Very versatile, high quality chicken, great hot, and reheated. Great price and would definitely buy again.

Here is my recipe for yummy Kroger Fried Chicken rice:
-steamed brown rice
-frozen corn
-jumbalaya seasoning
-meat from Kroger fried chicken

Mix all ingredients and enjoy hot or cold! Yum yum yummmmmy!

Keep reading to learn more about the benefits of Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Oil and one of my favorite recipes featuring Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Oil- Grilled Butternut Squash, all around healthy & great for summer cookouts. 

According to medical experts, these essential properties give olive oil health benefits. It helps protect against heart disease, aids in digestion, and has been known to promote healthy aging. Promote healthy eating habits for you and your family by making olive oil a delicious, nutritious addition to your diet. What are good fats to eat? As part of eating a healthy diet, you need to consume moderate amounts of good fats. 

These good fats include:

 Monounsaturated fat — This is the primary fat source found in olive oil. Unsaturated fat, can help lower LDL (bad) cholesterol. In fact, due to its high concentration of monounsaturated fat, olive oil can actually help to lower LDL (bad) cholesterol. This is the main reason why olive oil is considered to be healthy for us.

·         Polyunsaturated fat — Found in nuts, fish, sunflower oil, corn oil, and of course olive oil, polyunsaturated fat helps to maintain heart health and lower blood cholesterol levels.

·         Omega-3 polyunsaturated fat — Found in fatty fishes like salmon or in vegetable oils, omega-3 polyunsaturated fat is truly brain food. It has been proven to promote mental acuity and brain development.

Filippo Berio Recipe: Grilled Butternut Squash 
(from the BBQ Grail Website)

Ingredients:

• 1 butternut squash
• 1/2 cup Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, thyme, & oregano (1/3 of each)
• 5 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped

Directions

Slice the butternut squash in half and remove the pulp and seeds from the bulb end.  Slice the squash into 1/2 slices.  Cut the bulb end slices in half.  Combine the  Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil, vinegar, honey and herb in a bowl and mix well.  Place the squash in a plastic zip bag and pour in the oil mixture.  Remove as much air from the bag as possible and seal it.  Place the bag in the refrigerator for at least two hours.

Heat your grill to medium hot.  Remove the squash slices from the bag, retaining as much oil mixture as possible.  Season the squash slices with a little bit of kosher salt.   Grill the slices about 5 minutes per side.  Remove squash from the grill and drizzle with oil mixture (optional- good w/out it).  Cover with foil and let rest for 12 minutes.  Serve.
