Essentrics Workouts are A dynamic workout based on the theories of Miranda Esmonde-White that simultaneously lengthens and strengthens every muscle in the body, resulting in greater joint mobility and lean, long muscles. They are a unique full-body technique that works through the muscle chains, liberating and empowering the muscles, relieving them from tension in the process. Essentrics workouts are a completely original workout that draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which create health and balance, the strengthening theories behind ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles and the healing principles of physiotherapy which create a pain free body.

There are three basic types of muscles contractions and Essentrics is loosely based on the concept of eccentric muscle contractions. Medical Definition: Eccentric training is defined as active contraction of a muscle occurring simultaneously with lengthening of the muscle.
There are even rotations set up for you! There is a 30 day beginners rotation & a regular 30 day rotation to choose from. You can also choose a video by workout category, series, or type of workout. With so many workouts to choose from - you wont get bored! Variety in exercise will keep you motivated and provide better results! They even have videos in French! Workouts range from 10 to 60 minutes- something for every workout day! Most workouts are about 30 min each but there are also shorter & longer routines.

Videos are available for specific challenges such as arthritus pain relief, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, & many more. If you have tight muscles, soreness or need to work on your flexibility these are the routines for you. With excellent instruction & super unique workouts -these have been so effective for me. I am so happy to have made them a part of my fitness regimen.
