RKS: Reinhardt Kettlebell System Review: Disc Six

Keep reading for the disc six (workouts 11 & 12) reviews of the RKS: Reinhardt Kettlebell SystemThe workouts in the set get progressively more challenging and each disc contains two workouts! You choose your kettlebell weight to dictate the intensity of your workout- making this a great set for all fitness levels! Check out all of my RKS reviews by clicking the tab above or click here.

RKS: Reinhardt Kettlebell System: Disc Six
Owen Evans, 2011 ***** (5 of 5 stars)

This disc contains two workouts, both done in the gorgeous outdoor set overlooking the city. These workouts are done voiceover and there are 2 backgrounders that give you a side view of their form. The disc also includes a w/u & c/d and music options. You will only need a kettlebell for these workouts and they are performed barefoot. The discs come in a very secure cardboard book that keep everything safe.

Workout Eleven: (21 min) The first 10 min is a strength ladder; you perform 1 set per side, 2
sets per side, 3 sets per side of each exercise before you move onto the next exercise. The three exercises are: clean, press, overhead lunge, followed by a 1 min rest. The remaining 10 minutes are 5 right swings, 5 right hi pulls, hand to hand switch then 5 left swings, 5 left hi pulls for one minute followed by a 30 second rest, repeat for the remainder of the workout.

Workout Twelve: (15 min) This is a challenge workout where you perform six exercises as many times as possible. the exercises are: 10 pushups, 20 right swings, rack squats- 5 each side, 20 left swings, rows - 5 each side, and 20 two hand swings. Very challenging and my shoulders really felt this the next (or 2!).

As always excellent and form pointers! Lots of great full body strength exercises that provides a great cardio benefit, without any impact! This disc is great for those that like hi intensity but no/low impact. This set is appropriate for the beginner through advanced exerciser -you can easily adjust the intensity of your workout depending on the weight of your bell. And the timed intervals allow you go at your own pace. I received this dvd to review.

Review: RKS: Reinhardt Kettlebell System Dics Five

The RKS: Reinhardt Kettlebell System Disc Five review is below. The workouts in the set get progressively more challenging and each disc contains two workouts! You choose your kettlebell weight to dictate the intensity of your workout- making this a great set for all fitness levels!

RKS: Reinhardt Kettlebell System: Disc Five
Owen Evans, 2011

This disc contains two workouts, both done in an outdoor set overlooking a city. These workouts are done voiceover and there are 2 backgrounders that give you a side view of their form. The disc also includes a w/u & c/d and music options. You will only need a kettlebell for these workouts and they are performed barefoot. The set comes in a very nice secure cardboard book that keeps the discs safely in place.

Workout Nine: (24 min)This is a strength ladder workout. You perform 15 min of clean & press - 1 rep up to 4 reps per side followed by a one min rest. The remaining 8 min you perform right, left, and 2 hand swings for 45 seconds each followed by 30 seconds - 2 times total.

Workout Ten: (10 min) In this w/o you perform 8 sets of 5 exercises -completing all 8 of each exercise before moving onto the next. You perform each exercise for 20 seconds followed by 10 seconds of rest with 1 min rest between sets. Exercises include: pushups, 2 hand swings, alternating rows, bodyweight or goblet squats, and plank holds. (This was the toughest RKS for me to date!)

The form pointers are great in this as with all the RKS workouts. These workouts get a lot done in a short amount of time and are very functional, hitting all your muscles (especially the core!) and working your cardio system. The set is easily adaptable to any fitness level as you can easily adjust the intensity of your workout depending on the weight of your bell. And because they are timed intervals- you can go at your own pace & rest when needed. I received this dvd to review.

Introducing RKS: Reinhardt Kettlebell System (LOVE)

Introducing RKS: Reinhardt Kettlebell System! I am super excited about the opportunity to share with you this super effective & efficient workout system. Historically I have not been a fan of the vast majority of kettlebell workouts I have tried, until now. I can honestly say I really really like the workouts to my own surprise! I had always considered myself "not a kettlebell type of girl" until now! I am really digging the RKS workouts and loving the different kind of training. My core has definitely never been worked like this and I can feel it! Looking forward to some serious results with the RKS Workout system! Keep reading for the lowdown on the system and stay tuned for detailed dvd reviews!

What is the RKS Workout:RKS is a full body workout using a kettlebell that increases ones strength, endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular conditioning, and gets your heart pumping so you burn calories WHILE working your muscles. Unlike other Cardio centric programs RKS is the first complete kettlebell system to provide the user with expert kettlebell instruction- which has really helped perfect my kettlebell form and allows me to train safely and in proper form!
The RKS training program only uses one kettlebell, making this the most versatile, well-rounded, completely portable gym anywhere. With weekly challenges built into the program, the user will also have a way to gauge progress over the training period. The workouts are short but pack a punch! They work the body in a new way and provide a total body muscle training & cardio experience in a short amount of time.
Many  popular fitness dvd programs focus on cardio cardio cario, which causes high amounts of muscle breakdown, fatigue, and training plateaus. The RKS program of progressive training gives your a balance of strength, flexibility and conditioning while molding a lean, powerful muscles with lungs that won’t quit. Because kettlebell training teaches the body to communicate and work as a complete unit, rather than as individual parts, the user will experience amazing results in athleticism and coordination, which is different from most other systems on the market.
